The Chobe Day Trip is a full-day safari experience from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park in Botswana, ideal for travelers with limited time. Just an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, Chobe is famous for its large elephant herds, big cats, and riverine wildlife.
The trip includes a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River, a buffet lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge, and an afternoon game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle. Departure:Early pickup between 6:30–8:00 AM from Victoria Falls, Livingstone, or Kasane. Border crossing at Kazungula (if coming from Zimbabwe or Zambia).
Around 12:30–1:00 PM, enjoy a relaxing buffet lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge, one of Botswana’s most iconic riverside lodges. Lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge is a highlight in itself. Set on the banks of the Chobe River, the open-air restaurant offers scenic views of the water and often wildlife grazing along the shoreline. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of dishes from the buffet.
After lunch, embark on a thrilling 3-hour guided game drive through Chobe National Park, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich conservation areas. You’ll travel in an open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle, designed to provide unobstructed views and excellent photography opportunities.
Return to the border around 4:30–5:30 PM for drop-off back in Victoria Falls, Livingstone, or Kasane.
